Family Devotions
By Charles L. Gordon

Set apart a least 30 minutes each week for family devotions. It should be at the same time and date each week and in the same place. We do our devotions on Mondays at 8 am in our living room.

Take time to Read - The Bible, and other devotional study aids. You might consider doing it online. Try some of the links to the right or the following: Radio Bible Class - contains the  following devotionals : Campus Journal, Our Daily Bread, or My Utmost for His Highest

Take time to Reflect Aloud - Have each person state how they feel about the topic and what  has been read.

Take time to Respond - Each person should make a decision about the material your family  has studied. For example - to share what you have learned with someone.

Take time to Pray - Above all else Pray the Word; thank God for what He has done for your family; ask God for forgiveness; ask Him for what your family needs and what He wants your family to do; and take time to listen for His response.
